Sales of New, Used Vehicles Drop in July

WARREN, Ohio – Sales of new and used vehicles to residents of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties dropped in July compared with the same month a year earlier, according to the most recent report from the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.

The dealers’ report shows that sales of new cars and trucks stood at 2,478 units in July, compared with 2,584 in July 2025, a 4% drop.

The top five dealers in the region based on volume include Boardman Subaru, with 203 units sold; Fairway Chevrolet GMC, Calcutta, with 127; Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman, with 120; Toyota of Boardman, with 118; and Greenwood Chevrolet, Austintown, with 108.

Sales of used vehicles also declined during the month. Dealers reported sales of 1,939 used cars and trucks in July, compared with 2,174 during the same period in 2025, consisting of a 10.8% drop, the report shows.
