NILES, Ohio – At the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s annual Salute to Business breakfast, six individuals were recognized for their contributions to the Mahoning Valley’s economic landscape.

Chamber President and CEO Guy Coviello noted the significance of the awards and highlighted keynote speaker Michele Harradence, president of Enbridge Gas, as a major voice in the energy sector. Harradence addressed the importance of utility infrastructure in attracting manufacturing investment, citing projects such as the Trumbull Energy Center and Kimberly-Clark’s upcoming Lordstown facility.

Enbridge also announced a $25,000 donation to the Chamber’s Downtown Recovery Fund, intended to support revitalization efforts in Youngstown following pandemic-related setbacks and a recent explosion at Realty Tower. Harradence reaffirmed the company’s commitment to safety and collaboration with the National Transportation Safety Board in ongoing investigations.

The event underscored the Valley’s growing energy footprint and its role in regional economic development.
