WARREN, Ohio – YBI introduced the six sharks for its seventh annual Shark Tank competition Thursday during a wrestling-themed kickoff event at Penguin City Brewing. Entrepreneurs and business owners encouraged startup founders to apply for the October pitch competition, emphasizing resilience, adaptability and risk-taking.

Plus, a state capital budget proposal would direct millions of dollars to higher education, infrastructure, health care, parks and cultural projects across the Mahoning Valley and eastern Ohio.

And a former school building has been converted into a mixed-use property offering short-term rentals, long-term apartments and community space under a redevelopment led by Erin Timms.
