Sheely’s Donates $8K to Animal Charity of Ohio

NORTH LIMA, Ohio – Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance’s third-quarter fundraising drive raised $8,082 for Animal Charity of Ohio.

Sheely’s management presented a check to the organization Oct. 24.

“We were so pleased to raise funds for Animal Charity of Ohio for our quarterly fundraising drive,” said Jessica Smith, Sheely’s principal owner. “In our 70-plus years in business in the region, giving back to our community is always a priority for us. And they carry out such a noble mission, looking after pets that in many cases have been mistreated.”

The fundraising drive was held at Sheely’s Aurora and North Lima locations. Sheely’s provided matching funds for every donation received and incentivized customers to donate by providing a $100 discount on qualifying purchases.

“Sheely’s concern for the well-being of our community continues,” said Jeff Curry, Sheely’s general manager and principal owner. “We wish to thank everyone involved in this effort, including our wonderful customers and our amazing staff.”
