ALTOONA, Pa. – Restaurant and convenience chain Sheetz has been named to this year’s “Companies that Care” list by Great Place to Work and People Magazine.
The annual list, now in its 10th year, highlights the top companies in the United States that have succeeded in business while also demonstrating outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees and a deep commitment to their communities, a news release states.
This marks the fifth consecutive year, and sixth time in seven years, that Sheetz has been ranked on the national list. Sheetz ranks 73rd on this year’s list.
“Being recognized for the fifth straight year as a ‘Company that Cares’ is incredibly meaningful because it reflects what our employees experience every day,” said Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz. “Taking care of our people has always been at the heart of who we are as an organization, and that commitment naturally extends to the communities we serve. This honor belongs to our entire Sheetz team, whose care and dedication makes a positive difference for each other and our customers each and every day.”
