COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Restaurant and convenience chain Sheetz will open its first location in the city this week.
The new store at 44952 state Route 14 will open to the public at 8 a.m. Wednesday. A grand opening celebration will begin outside the store at 9 a.m., with multiple prizes awarded, including a grand prize giveaway of free Sheetz for a Year – a value of $2,500 in a Sheetz gift card. The store will also offer customers free self-serve coffee and soda throughout the day. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:45 a.m.
To help celebrate the opening, Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, and customers who attend the celebration are encouraged to donate a nonperishable food item to the nonprofit organization. Those who donate from 9-11 a.m. will receive a Sheetz-branded thermal bag, while supplies last.
Sheetz, which operates more than 800 locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland, will also donate $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Ohio.
