WARREN, Ohio – ExxonMobil, LyondellBasell, Apollo and Kuwait Petroleum Corp. are reportedly pursuing Shell’s chemical assets, including its polyethylene plant near Monaca, Pa. Shell is considering offers for a portfolio that could be worth up to $8 billion, though discussions remain preliminary.

Plus, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society is preparing to transform a downtown Youngstown building into the Idora Park Museum. The $11.5 million project will feature rides, memorabilia and other artifacts from the amusement park.

And workers erected a $2.4 million pedestrian bridge Wednesday connecting Perkins Park and the Warren Community Amphitheatre to the Mahoning River’s Peninsula redevelopment area.
