YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index fell 2 points to 98.8 in September, the first drop in three months. Inflation, supply chain issues and hiring challenges continue to weigh on sentiment. The Uncertainty Index rose to 100, one of the highest readings in the survey’s history.

Plus, Michael Kurish, president and CEO of the Associated School Employees Credit Union, says members are adapting to changing economic conditions while the institution continues to grow.

And Mercy Health Occupational Health Services has moved to a larger clinic at 5000 E. Market St., Suite 18. The expanded space allows for more on-site treatment of work-related injuries and faster patient care.
