SALEM, Ohio – The Sustainable Opportunity Development Center is developing a new five-year economic development plan to help guide the city’s growth from 2025 through 2030.
The plan will focus on attracting and supporting businesses, investing in infrastructure, growing the workforce and strengthening the local economy.
To ensure the plan reflects the priorities of those who live, work and lead in Salem, the SOD Center is asking for community input.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to complete a brief survey to share what they value most about the city, the challenges local businesses face and suggestions for industries or services the city needs.
Those who complete the survey will be entered to win one of six gift cards to local Salem businesses. The survey is available HERE.
