Sojourn To The Past Teaches Racism’s History

Members of Mahoning Valley Sojourn To The Past hold workshops to educate the public on the United State’s history of racism and potential solutions.

The Sojourn members stressed the importance of communication, political action and proper reporting by the media.

“Wars are happening because people can’t talk. Disagreements are happening because people can’t talk. Violence is happening because people can’t sit down and calmly talk,” Sojourn member Natalia McRae said.
