CANFIELD, Ohio – The unusual part of commercial real estate is that each parcel has a multitude of facets, and understanding each part makes the transition from seller to buyer or landlord to tenant different.
Platz Realty Group has a wide variety of agents with backgrounds in a myriad of fields. It is this breadth and depth of experience that has propelled Platz to another record year of growth.
Our agent group includes: Bill Kutlick, Gris Hurlbert, Dan Crouse, Don Thomas, Adam Divelbiss, Matt Wilson, Theresa Morse, Gary Lasko, Alicia Angelo and Steve Platz. All have long histories in commercial real estate, development and business brokerage.
In 2024, Platz welcomed Shea MacMillan to our Trumbull County office. MacMillan comes to us from the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber with a background in economic development and business planning.
Also in 2024, Platz Realty expanded to the Columbus market with Gregg Divelbiss leading the effort. Divelbiss has a background in commercial, residential property development, and property management.
On the tech side of our business, we launched the Platz Realty app to give easy access for agents, clients and prospects to view more than 350 listings. We continue to refine our website, PlatzRealtyGroup.com, and will add features this year.
In 2024, Platz sold and leased 169 properties. Notable closings included McDonald Steel, Larry’s Drive Thru (Poland), Modern Office (Boardman), 201 McClurg (Boardman bus garage), U-Haul (Elm and North River roads, Warren), and the Brightspeed building (Elm Road, Warren).
2025 will see Platz Realty continuing its expansion within Ohio and looking at markets out of the region. In March we will announce an expansion of our business brokerage business.
We are fully committed to the growth and revitalization of the Mahoning Valley. To that end, we support Youngstown State University, the Youngstown Business Incubator, the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and Lake to River Development.
