SALEM, Ohio – Salem Regional Medical Center recently welcomed family medicine physician Dr. James E. Friedl III to its medical staff. 

Friedl joins family medicine physician Dr. Stephanie Raynish at SRMC Primary Care-Salem.

Friedl offers a personalized and holistic approach to health care for patients of all ages, including preventative and wellness care; annual physical exams; sick visits for acute illnesses; chronic disease management; and lifestyle medicine. He uses osteopathic manipulative medicine to restore the body’s natural healing process through hands-on treatment.

“It’s important to listen to patients and understand their concerns to provide care that is tailored to their unique needs,” Friedl said. “True health involves all facets of life. Obtaining it is a journey that involves continuously consistent improvements. I enjoy working alongside my patients as they make meaningful strides toward lasting wellness.”

Friedl earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Hillsdale College and his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at UPMC Horizon.

His professional memberships include the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
