In 2025, SSB CPAs continued to grow while balancing leadership transition and a focus on long-term, valued client and community relationships, according to the company’s people and culture coordinator.

Theresa Bates says SSB’s team of 50 professionals remains committed to delivering high-quality service and fostering an environment where experience is shared and long-term careers are developed.

SSB’s tenured partners continued mentoring to support ongoing team development in 2025.

The company welcomed Kayla Emanuelson as a partner and Adam Timblin as an equity partner.

“Our team worked closely with clients and remained consistently connected through strong client and community relationships, providing tailored expertise to meet their needs,” Bates says. “We see the impact of this approach reflected in the growth of our existing clients and the attraction of new client relationships aligned with our services.”

She also points to the role technology played in company success. SSB integrated artificial intelligence and other refinements, allowing it to expand marketing reach and serve more industries.

Bates says SSB will continue to focus in 2026 on meeting client needs while investing in its team and the systems and processes that support its growth.

“Giving back to our community remains an important part of who we are,” she says. “Our team members actively serve on boards and volunteer their time with local nonprofit organizations. This is where we live and work, and we take great pride in supporting an exceptional network of businesses and organizations.”
