YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Society of St. Vincent de Paul relocated its dining hall and opened a 16,000-square-roof thrift store and donation center in 2024.
Anne Kravitz, district president of the society, says God intervened in the relocation of the dining hall to the Broadway Community Campus at 430 Williamson Ave. “We’re hopeful that the community will continue to support our mission with both donations and volunteer hours,” she says.
The thrift store was opened at 7392 Market St. in Boardman. It sells donated clothing, furniture and appliances, athletics gear, household items, collectibles and more. Sales offset some of the costs of the charitable work of the organization.
