Stevens Masonry Construction Inc. is entering its fourth generation of family leadership as it marks 40 years in business in 2026.
Dylan K. Stevens is serving as general superintendent, representing the latest transition in a family legacy that dates to 1938, when George W. Stevens entered the construction industry. The company was later founded May 2, 1986, by Edwin C. and Esther F. Stevens, building on that foundation.
The company currently employs eight full-time workers. Employment reached 18 last year and is expected to increase as seasonal work resumes with improved weather conditions.
Long-term employees include Jacob F. Spor, superintendent/foreman with 21 years of service; Brian Forrester, laborer/foreman with 17 years; and John Decampli, journeyman bricklayer with 14 years.
Stevens Masonry provides new masonry construction and restoration services, including work with stone, block and brick, as well as hardscape and masonry restoration.
The company performs commercial, industrial, educational, retail and residential projects, as well as maintenance work.
Over the years, the company has worked with owners, architects, engineers, developers and facilities managers on projects throughout the region. In 2026, Stevens Masonry Construction marks its 40th anniversary.
