YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Strollo Architects started or continued work on many significant Mahoning Valley building projects in 2024.

The list includes renovation of the Youngstown State University student center, expansion of the Farmers National Bank headquarters in Canfield, Girard Public Library, the Youngstown joint safety services campus and the aviation education center at Youngstown Warren Regional Airport.

The Youngstown-based firm maintains a corporate commitment to the communities it serves, says Greg Strollo, principal and president. Staff members serve in volunteer and board-level capacities at the YMCA, Better Business Bureau, Streetscape, Smarts, Cardinal Mooney High School, Keystone Blind Association, Youngstown Design Review Committee and Leadership Mahoning Valley.

Founded in 1956, Strollo Architects employs 20. The firm underscored its commitment to the area by investing $5 million in the renovation of the 1917 Wells Building in downtown Youngstown. The firm’s headquarters is in the building.
