Summit Academy Names Hall New Director
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Eric Hall has been selected as the director of Summit Academy – Youngstown, 144 N. Schenley Ave. He began his new position Aug. 19 with the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
Hall most recently was the dean and assistant principal for the STEAM Academy in Warren. His previous posts included a diverse range of administrative duties in Irving, Texas.
Hall earned his BA in psychology from Grambling State University. He went on to receive his Master of Education from the University of Texas at Arlington.
“My hope for the upcoming school year is to create an academic environment in which students not only excel, but exceed,” he says. “The only asset greater than the acquisition of knowledge, is the application.”
Hall values time with his family and enjoys fishing and playing tennis with his sons. He also serves as an associate minister at Third Baptist Church in Youngstown.
Summit Academy – Youngstown serves students from kindergarten through seventh grade. The school specializes in educating diverse learners, such as those with ADHD and autism, and is a tuition-free, public community school.
