LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Sweet Memories in 2024 added to its portfolio of iconic company logos, securing licensing deals with Chef Boyardee, Vlasic, DAVID, Jiffy Pop, Swiss Miss, Log Cabin, Crunch ‘N Munch, Fiddle Faddle and Orville Redenbacher’s.

Additionally, the company acquired licensing for Atkinson’s Candy Co., which includes classic brands like Mary Jane, Slow Poke, Black Cow, Chick-O-Stick, and Coconut Long Boys.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of T-shirts and other merchandise bearing the brands’ logos benefits Meals on Wheels of Mahoning Valley and Trumbull Mobile Meals, according to Linda Barton, owner and founder.

Well-known Mahoning Valley brand logos will be added this year, Barton says, as well as more national brands.

The store at 1282 Trumbull Ave. in Liberty Township was founded in 2022 as a vintage candy shop. It quickly added apparel, as well as vintage games, toys and other items, becoming a retail destination for fun and nostalgic products.

Since its inception, Sweet Memories has donated a percentage of sales from its branded apparel to Akron Children’s Hospital. It raised $20,040 in 2024, bringing its cumulative total to $66,597, Barton says.
