While supply chains, shifting tariffs, freight delays and material uncertainty became daily obstacles for many manufacturers, such issues didn’t hamper operations at Soft Touch Furniture, Megan Vickers, president, reports.

“Because we design and manufacture our commercial furniture in Girard, Ohio, using U.S. commercial grade materials, tariff and supply chain issues never became a disruption,” she says. “In fact, being insulated from tariff and supply-chain issues had an unintended yet good to have problem – we were busy.”

Even during periods when the company’s team was stretched thin, projects moved forward, she says. Furniture was built, delivered and installed with care and consistency.

Last year, Soft Touch introduced Parecido, the interchangeable back seating system launched in 2025. The line lets customers refresh the look and feel of a space without replacing the entire booth or banquette.

“Looking ahead to 2026, our optimism feels grounded rather than speculative. We see opportunity in helping customers bring ambitious ideas to life, whether that means a brand-new space or a smart reimagining of an existing one,” Vickers says.
