YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Students from the Trumbull Career & Technical Center’s Early Innovators Academy participated in a session at Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology’s new 3D printing lab, located on the second floor of the expanded facility.

The students tested the lab’s equipment and engaged in digital design tasks as part of a hands-on learning experience. The visit was part of Oh Wow’s efforts to introduce advanced technology and STEM education to a wider audience.

“The purpose of our new expansion is to not only offer something fresh and new to all of our visitors, members and schools in the area, but also to increase our bandwidth a little bit and hopefully reach some higher age ranges, which is what we’re seeing here today with TCTC,” said Katie DeToro, Oh Wow’s executive director.
