CHAMPION, Ohio – Students and instructors at Trumbull Career & Technical Center will thank veterans this month with two free services.

Veterans can take advantage of these opportunities on a first come, first served basis, as appointments are limited to align with school hours.

Dental Health Day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday. TCTC’s dental assisting instructor, Jill Woods, and her students – along with Dr. Robert McIntosh – will provide free dental services to veterans and first responders. Services will include dental cleanings, extractions and other general dental care. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 330 847 050, ext. 1044.

Polish for Patriots will be held from Nov. 10-14. In honor of Veterans Day, auto collision technology instructor Bryan Carlson and his students will offer free exterior detailing services for veterans’ vehicles. Services include vehicle washing, waxing and polishing. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 330 847 0503, ext. 1308.

All services will be provided at the Trumbull Career & Technical Center campus, 528 Educational Highway.

“These opportunities not only allow our students to practice their skills but, more importantly, they give us a chance to express gratitude to the men and women who have served our country,” said TCTC Superintendent Jason Gray. “We’re proud to give back to our veterans in a meaningful way.”
