VIENNA, Ohio – The Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania has brought seasoned leadership into its ranks with the addition of Ken Reid as association services director. He began his role Jan. 12.
Reid will lead The Builders Association’s workforce development initiatives – a top strategic priority – and support membership engagement, event programming and partnerships across the five-county region the association serves.
He has more than 30 years of federal law enforcement and executive leadership experience, most recently serving as assistant deputy chief for U.S. Courts Probation and Pretrial Services in Florida. He retired in late 2025 and returned to the Mahoning Valley shortly after.
“Ken stood out not only for his deep leadership background, but for how closely his values align with our mission,” said Kevin Reilly, executive vice president of The Builders Association. “He brings a strategic mindset and a strong sense of purpose to everything he does. He’s a leader, a connector and someone who’s clearly committed to helping shape the future of the building trades in our region.”
Reid is originally from Gettysburg, Pa., and spent part of his career working in Youngstown, where he met his wife, an Austintown native. He and his family recently relocated to Canfield.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Frostburg State University in Maryland.
