PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Vincent J. Delie Jr., F.N.B. Corp. chairman, president and CEO, has been named CEO of the Year – USA, for his leadership and impact on the U.S. banking industry.

The Digital Banker’s CEO of the Year – USA award is part of the publication’s Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards. 

Delie was selected for the award through an extensive assessment of banking leaders designed to identify individuals who are making extraordinary contributions to their respective institutions while championing digital innovations that promote advancement and a consistent customer experience. 

In announcing Delie as the winner, The Digital Banker cited his impact on the Pennsylvania business landscape and the U.S. banking industry, as well as his leadership in F.N.B.’s sustained growth and commitment to developing innovative technologies that increase access to financial services.

Under Delie’s leadership, F.N.B. and its largest subsidiary, First National Bank, have expanded to serve seven states and Washington, D.C., while sustaining growth, profitability and shareholder value. From a digital perspective, F.N.B. has invested in Clicks-to-Bricks, including an eStore digital platform where products can be compared, appointments can be scheduled with bankers and financial educational resources can be viewed.

The eStore Common application allows consumers and business clients to apply for multiple banking products by filling out one application, using AI-driven insights and data analytics to redefine the customer journey.

Delie was also recently named CEO of the Year by The CEO Magazine and one of the top 50 CEOs in the U.S. by Brand Finance. Previously, he was named an American Banker Innovator of the Year and received an Industrialist of the Year Award through the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and an Adam Smith Distinguished Leadership Award from Economics-Pennsylvania.
