WARREN, Ohio – The Summit Radio’s annual 330 Day concert returns to the Mahoning Valley this year, where it will spotlight bands with local roots.

It will take place at 7 p.m. March 30 at Robins Theatre, 160 E. Market St., with Youngstown’s The Labra Brothers as the headliner.

The show will also feature Demos Papadimas and his band (Youngstown), Black Wolf & The Thief (Warren), Adam Remnant (Athens), Barry Carroll (Youngstown), Ceci Taylor (Doylestown) and a performance by members of the Fitch High Rock Band (Austintown), which is led by John Anthony of The Vindys.

Tickets are free, with a $20 suggested donation, and can be reserved at TheSummit.fm. Brad Savage, the station’s program director and a DJ, will host the concert.

Preferred seating is available to Summit FM members and Guitar Club members, who can RSVP via an exclusive event link sent via email.

In addition, everyone who donates $20 or more will be entered to win a custom-made Telecaster-style electric guitar from Gray Wolf Guitars.
The Akron-based Summit Radio is a nonprofit public radio station that mixes a lot of regional bands into its modern rock playlist. It can be heard at 90.7 in the Mahoning Valley or online at TheSummit.fm.

The concert will be just part of the station’s annual celebration of 330 Day – which is named for the region’s area code and always takes place March 30.

Two other events, each a short walk from Robins Theatre, will take place before the concert.

The Summit Wellness Music and Movement showcase will start at 3:30 p.m. at the Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St. Led by Sarah Swirsky, Summit wellness coordinator, the event will feature Trust Drum Circles and Akron rock artist Marc Lee Shannon. The interactive event will explore music-making and sound for wellness and include chair yoga and gentle movement and mindfulness. It’s part of The Summit’s wellness initiative

The concert pre-party will start at 4:30 p.m. at Modern Method Brewing, 125 Dave Grohl Alley. Music fans are invited to gather there, where Summit music director Chad Miller will DJ. A food truck will be on-site.

The annual 330 Day takes place in a different location each year. Past concerts were at Youngstown’s Stambaugh Auditorium, Kent Stage, Akron Civic Theatre and the Canton Palace Theatre. The station has transmitters in Akron, Struthers and Athens.

This year’s event will mark the first time the concert will be in Warren.

“Each year, 330 Day gives us a chance to celebrate what makes our region special, and this year we’re excited to expand that experience even further,” said Tommy Bruno, general manager of the station. “By highlighting Summit Wellness, showcasing incredible 330 area musicians, and bringing people together in the beautiful city of Warren, we’re continuing to deepen the connection between music, community and well-being.”
