YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Chuck Olson will be joined by several Pittsburgh-area rockers for a special discussion and performance at The Butler Institute of American Art on May 15.

“The Mix: The Art and Music within Us” will feature Olson, whose work is on display at the museum through May 18, plus Rob James and Greg Joseph of The Clarks, Joe Grushecky,  Rick Witkowski of BE Taylor Group and Crack the Sky, Jeff Schmulz of Good Brother Earl and  Joe Waslousky. The band will perform covers of songs by the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, Talking Heads, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, the Clash and others.

The event, which is a fundraiser for The Butler, will start at 6:15 p.m. with a conversation on creating art and music. It will conclude with a 90-minute concert that will start at 7 p.m.

Rock Tribute Bands at Eastwood Field

NILES, Ohio – The Rock Never Stops Show, featuring four tribute bands, will take place Aug. 2 at Eastwood Field. The show will start at 7 p.m.

The lineup includes Jovi (Bon Jovi), Armageddon (Def Leppard), Rattrap (Ratt) and Rock of Love (Poison).

Tickets start at $10 and are on sale HERE and at the box office at Eastwood Field. A limited number of suites are available for $325 each. 

Neil Berg’s ‘50 Years of Rock ’n’ Roll’ at Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Neil Berg’s “50 Years of Rock ’n’ Roll: Part 3” show will come to Orr Auditorium at Westminster College on May 3.

Berg is a favorite among Westminster audiences. His new show covers rock ’n’ roll from its birth in the 1940s to the glory years of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, and through the MTV era of the ’80s. A composer and lyricist, Berg includes fascinating stories in his show, which is full of hit songs.

His act features a cast of Broadway performers and rock singers and salutes five decades of legends, from Elvis Presley to The Who, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac and many more. Berg recognizes all the popular genres from across the decades, including disco, rock, Motown and new wave. 

Sight for All’s Annual Golf Fundraiser  

POLAND, Ohio – Sight for All United’s annual Golf Fore Sight fundraiser will take place June 2 at the Lake Club. 

The event will raise funds to help children and adults gain access to eye exams, glasses, medical/surgical care and assistive devices.

This year, Sight for All United is partnering with Envision Blind Sports to host its inaugural low vision/blind golf clinic on the morning of the golf outing. This free event will give individuals with visual impairments a chance to experience the joy of golf.
