YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Labra Brothers have released “The Move,” the first single from their upcoming self-titled album.

The song signals a new chapter for the band.

It features the four Labra brothers singing in harmony, shifting between English and Spanish.

Lyrically, it follows a protagonist shedding the weight of low ambition to reenter the social scene with unapologetic confidence.

“This song is about the moment you decide to stop watching and start owning the room,” lead vocalist and guitarist Adrian Labra said. “It’s about surrendering to the rhythm and fully stepping back into the energy of life.”

Sonically, “The Move” expands the band’s Latin funk foundation, anchored by a driving rhythm section, layered percussion and a horn arrangement

“The Move” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

The upcoming album, which was recorded at Court Street Productions and produced by Marc Lee Shannon, will be released later this year.
