WARREN, Ohio – The Little River Band will bring its 50th anniversary tour to the Robins Theatre on Friday, Nov. 28, for an 8 p.m. concert.
The Australian band is known for its hits “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Lady” and “The Night Owls.”

Tamburitzans Troupe at Ford Family Recital Hall
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Tamburitzans will come to Ford Family Recital Hall on Nov. 16 for a 3 p.m. performance.
The Eastern European folk music and dance troupe features dazzling and colorful costumes and rapid musical numbers.

Stambaugh Chorus Seeking Members
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Stambaugh Chorus is seeking singers for its 73rd season.
The chorus is under the direction of Hae-Jong Lee. Members donate their time and talent to benefit the organization and the community. Christmas Exhibition Preparation Begins
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The first floor of the Arms Family Museum will be closed beginning today in preparation for the annual Memories of Christmas Past exhibition.
The second floor exhibits will remain open until Oct. 26, after which the entire museum will close for the final preparations.
During this time, admission will be half price at Arms Family Museum and Tyler History Center. Admission will be $3.50; $3 for senior citizens and college students; and $2.50 for children ages 3-18.
Hair Rock Tribute Concert at Robins Theatre
WARREN, Ohio – Monsters of Hair Rock, a double bill featuring Wanted: The Bon Jovi Tribute Band and Slow and Easy: The Whitesnake Tribute, will come to the Robins Theatre on Nov. 29 for an 8 p.m. concert.
Tickets are $29 (plus fees) in advance and $35 on the day of the show. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at RobinsTheatre.com and at the box office.
Art Show at YMCA Issues Call for Artists
BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Davis Family YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, has issued a call for submissions for its annual “But I Know What I Like” art show, which opens Oct. 5.
Adult artists in the area are welcome to submit pieces in any medium, which must be family friendly. Submissions will be accepted from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 26 and 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 27.
Art will be judged by three nonprofessionals. Cash prizes will be awarded at the opening reception.

Lit Youngstown Seeks Candidates for Position
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Literary arts nonprofit Lit Youngstown is seeking candidates for a new position, outreach coordinator. The person selected will work with Lit Youngstown staff to develop an outreach program.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with local program administrators interested in narrative medicine, developing curricula and leading writing groups with community members, overseeing a small group of outreach writers and occasionally providing support for larger events such as The Fall Literary Festival.

New Name, Owners for Mecca Tavern
MECCA, Ohio – A longtime favorite establishment has new owners and a new name.
The Local Tap & Grill, 2242 Greenville Road, has reopened under new ownership. The bar-restaurant was formerly known as Yellow Dog.
It has undergone a revitalization under new owners Wenona and Dan Herrmann. The couple is committed to preserving the welcoming atmosphere while bringing new vision to both the kitchen and the bar.
The menu has been revamped and will include classic bar favorites with homestyle meals.
The Local’s family-friendly environment during the day will transform into a nightlife center in the evening, Herrmann said.
The Local Tap & Grill is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Craft BeerFest Unveils Brewers, Vendors
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Columbiana Craft BeerFest 2025 has announced its lineup of participating brewers.
The event will take place from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Firestone Farms, 101 TownCenter Drive.
Proceeds will support projects in Firestone Recreational Park.
The following breweries will offer samples of their beer: Aeonian, Biker Brewhouse, Birdfish, Blue Monkey, BrewLounge, Good Lady Brewhouse, Modern Methods, Noble Creature, Paladin, Penguin City, R&L Lipton, the 1547 Project and The Vineyards at Pine Lake.
Vendors will include Barking Squirrel Farms, Due Sorelle Food Imports, Feathered Threads Boutique, Fused with Grace, McKim’s Honeyvine Winery, Our Farm Skin Care, Tena’s Treasures, The Local Artisan’s Loft, Tommy’s Jerky and Smokies.
Food trucks will include Auntie Anne’s, Kip’s Tacos and Smoke Worx.
