LISBON, Ohio – The Stage Left Silver Players will present the comedy variety show “Once Upon a Time …” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, at Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way.

All cast members are at least 55 years old.

Set in the Magic Kingdom Retirement Community, the show follows princes, kings and princesses as they spend their days at the Royal Park and Work Out Center – and their evenings unwinding at the Royal Tiki Bar. Through a series of comedic sketches and musical numbers, the cast brings humor and heart to the everyday realities of aging, from wrestling with technology to aching knees and the ever-present question: “Where did I put my glasses?”

Audiences will enjoy a lively mix of music and nostalgia, with songs including “Young at Heart,” “Once Upon a Time” and “The Little Old Lady from Pasadena.”

The show is directed by Kandace Cleland and Jodine Pilmer. The troupe celebrates the joy of performance and the fact that it’s never too late to take the stage.

Tickets are available online at StageLeftPlayers.org and can be purchased at the door.
