STRUTHERS, Ohio – “The Ladies Foursome,” a comedy by playwright Norm Foster, will close Selah Dessert Theater’s 10th anniversary season.

Performances will take place at 8 p.m. May 8-10, 15-17 and 23-24. Tickets are $21.50 and include dessert at intermission. Seating is cabaret style, and guests have the option of pre-ordering appetizers and wine. Go to SelahRestaurant.com or SelahDessertTheater.com. The theater is on the second floor of Selah Restaurant, 130 S. Bridge St., and is accessible by stairs only.

“The Ladies Foursome” is a fast-paced show about three women who have lost one of their golf foursome in a tragic accident. Cathy’s friend fills in for a round of golf to honor the passing. During 18 tee-offs, the women talk about family, friends, jobs, relationships, regrets, dreams and secrets. The end result is that they discover they really didn’t know each other, or Cathy, as well as they thought they did.

The cast includes Amy Burd, Denise Sculli, Nina Miller and Susan Cook, with Bill Rees as the golf coach.

“This show is the perfect escape right now,” said director Mary Ruth Lynn. “We all need to laugh, and this comedy was made to forget your troubles and laugh out loud as these women tell their stories.”
