YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Vindys will go back on tour this spring with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.

The Youngstown-based rockers also toured with Benatar and Giraldo last summer.

Benatar, a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, asked the band to again accompany her as opening act on a 24-city North American tour that begins April 19 in Sugar Land, Texas, and ends June 1 in Selbyville, Del. The tour includes a May 12 show in Erie, Pa., and a May 23 show in Columbus.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

The band first performed with Benatar a few years ago when it opened shows for her in Detroit and Cleveland. Benatar was so impressed that she asked the band to accompany her on her 2024 tour.

The Vindys will release a new single in the spring, said Jackie Popovec, the band’s singer.
