WARREN, Ohio – The Zolkas will perform at this year’s Penn-Ohio Polka Pals Dyngus Day Dance on April 6 at DiLucia’s Banquet Hall, 2610 Elm Road NE.
The energetic polka band has performed at events and festivals from Pittsburgh to Chicago.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with music and dancing starting at 6 p.m.
The event will include food and a cash bar (no BYOB).

Columbiana Wine Fest Sets Date
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – This year’s Columbiana Wine Festival will take place from 4-8 p.m. June 6 at Firestone Farms Town Centre.

VIP tickets, which include a bonus hour starting at 3 p.m. and an exclusive wine tasting, are available for $50.
Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass and 10 wine tasting tickets.
The event will include live music by No Funk No Justice, food trucks and craft vendors.
More than 10 wineries will be represented, pouring samples of their products.
Bags and Baubles at Mr. Anthony’s
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Bags and Baubles will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. April 16 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave.
The event benefits the many programs at the Mahoning County Juvenile Court for abused, neglected and at-risk youths and families.
Tables of eight are $375, and individual tickets are $50. Purse sponsorships are $600 and include a table of eight. All tickets must be purchased in advance. The event includes a dinner buffet, dessert and cash bar.
This year’s grand prize purse is the Louis Vuitton All in GM (retail price is $2,760). Only 400 tickets will be sold for the grand prize. Tickets are $50, or two for $75. YMCA Fellowship Breakfast Event
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The YMCA of Youngstown’s Spiritual Emphasis Committee will present its annual fellowship and inspiration April 3 at the Central YMCA upper gym.
The event will begin with breakfast and conclude with a short service featuring local faith and community leaders who will share messages of hope, reflection and unity.
Doors will open at 6:45 a.m., with breakfast at 7 a.m. There will be a Good Friday Service following the breakfast from 8-8:45 a.m. After the service, attendees are encouraged to stay for conversation and fellowship.
Tickets start at $20 per person and $140 for a table of eight.
Featured speakers will be pastor Juan Rivera from Victory Church in Coitsville; Dre Brown, executive director at the Central YMCA; and Beth Scheller, CEO of YMCA of Youngstown.
