WARREN, Ohio – Trees at the Gallery, the annual holiday market at Trumbull Art Gallery, 158 N. Park Ave., downtown, will open Nov. 13 and run through Jan. 3.
It includes unique and original artful gifts made by local artists and artisans.
Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday; noon to 6 p.m. Thursday; noon to 4 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
On Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29, the event will include music, holiday treats and hot cocoa. On Saturdays in December, artist demonstrations will take place.
Three items will be raffled, with the winner drawn Dec. 20. The items are a fully decorated tree, a basket of ornaments from all of the vendors and a Trumbull Art Gallery gift certificate.
Clay angel ornaments made in the TAG studio will be sold for $10, with proceeds benefiting the gallery’s art education program.
Warren Holiday Parade on Dec. 13
WARREN, Ohio – The Hometown Holidays celebration will take place Saturday, Dec. 13, in and around downtown.
The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County is inviting all interested groups, businesses, troops, clubs and other organizations to join in the parade. Marching bands are also being sought.

Polka Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Anthony of Padua parish is inviting the community to a polka Mass at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1125 Turin Ave.
The music will be performed by Rex Taneri and his Orchestra. It is free and open to the public, with secured parking available.
Following the service, all are invited to continue the celebration with an evening of entertainment, dancing and fellowship in the church hall.
It will include a Polish dinner, provided by Krakus Polish Deli & Bakery, with haluski, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, pierogi and dessert. The price is $15, dine-in or takeout.

State Awards $17M in Tax Credits for Films, TV Shows
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Development has announced more than $17 million in state tax credits to support film and television productions in Ohio.
Issued through the Motion Picture Tax Credit program, three feature films and one television series are expected to create about 115 new jobs, more than $59 million in eligible production expenditures and $215 million in total production costs.
Projects receiving support are:
- “Night Flirt,” film, Delaware County, $101,385.
- “Reaper,” film, Cuyahoga, $10,843,504.
- “Somedays,” film, Cuyahoga, $6,144,562.
- “The Land,” season 1, television, Cuyahoga, $859,266.
Additional funding is still available for fiscal year 2026. Applications are reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis.
Applications are evaluated according to the project’s potential economic impact and contributions to developing a permanent workforce in the industry. They are accepted online, time-stamped and held in the order in which they are received.
The program prioritizes television series and miniseries followed by other eligible productions, based on application submission date and time. The application and additional program information can be found HERE.
