YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – “Wonders of Northeast Ohio: A Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society Water Media Show” will go on display at Weller Gallery, inside the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, through June 21. Admission is free.

The exhibit features watercolors of landscapes created by 20 member artists. The paintings highlight scenes from Mill Creek Park, along with a wide-ranging look at backyards, wooded areas, open fields and waterways.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.

Community Development Day at The Amp

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The city of Youngstown’s second annual National Community Development Day will take place  from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre, 201 S. Phelps St.

This free, family-friendly event celebrates the impact of community development programs that strengthen neighborhoods, support local businesses and enhance quality of life for residents throughout Youngstown.

The celebration will feature community vendors, food trucks, live music, games for all ages and a bounce house. It will be a welcoming space for residents, families and local organizations to learn about the initiatives shaping the city’s future.

National Community Development Week is intentionally scheduled during the congressional appropriations process to highlight the importance of federal programs such as the Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnerships Program.

Single-Game Tickets for Scrappers Games 

NILES, Ohio – Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ single-game tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10. 

Tickets will be available at MVScrappers.com, by calling 330 505 0000 or at the box office. Single-game ticket prices start at $7.

The Scrappers will play 42 home games during the 2026 season from June through August.  The popular Friday Fireworks Nights and Thursday Buck Nights will return. A full promotional schedule for the 2026 season will be announced soon. Ticket packages are on sale now.

Westminster Percussion Ensemble Concert

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Percussion Ensemble will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in Orr Auditorium.

Directed by P.J. Gatch III, the ensemble will perform a diverse program of contemporary and traditional percussion works. The concert will feature the world premiere of “Metonymy” by Stanley Leonard, former principal timpanist of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

The concert is free and open to the public.
