YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Thrive Mahoning Valley will host A Legal Way Forward, a fundraising dinner to support the launch of its new immigration law clinic.

The event, which will take place April 29 at the B&O Banquet Hall, will bring together members of the legal profession, civic leaders and community supporters to help establish a new resource to ensure that individuals and families navigating the immigration system have access to trusted legal guidance.

The immigration law clinic will provide guidance and support to individuals and families seeking to navigate complex immigration processes through legal and appropriate channels, a news release states.

“Our goal is to create a resource that helps individuals and families understand and navigate the immigration system in a lawful, informed and supported way,” said Chris Colón, executive director of Thrive Mahoning Valley. “This clinic is about access to legal guidance and strengthening the systems that help our community function effectively.”

Tickets for the event are $75, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Click HERE or call 330 599 6680.

Proceeds from A Legal Way Forward will support hiring a full-time immigration attorney and the clinic’s initial operations. Thrive Mahoning Valley aims to raise $60,000 through the event to establish the program and begin delivering services this year.
