YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Tickets and memberships for the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra’s 2026-27 season will go on sale Friday, July 17.

The six-concert season will continue Music Director Erik Ochsner’s vision of welcoming new audiences to the symphony while continuing to enchant longtime patrons.

Memberships range from $235 to $383, and individual tickets range from $31 to $80, including all processing and credit card fees. Membership packages include six tickets in addition to members-only perks.

Here’s a closer look at the concerts for the upcoming season:

  • Oct. 2, 7:30 p.m., Stambaugh Auditorium:  “Symphonic Sorcery,” featuring music perfect for October. Audiences will embark on a spooky journey through works by Mozart, John Williams and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
  • Dec. 22-23, 7:30 p.m., Powers Auditorium: Two special performances of “Home Alone 2” in concert, featuring the film with the score performed live by the orchestra.
  • Jan. 24, 2:30 p.m., Stambaugh Auditorium: “An American Portrait,” celebrating the American experience through music by Florence Price, Samuel Barber and George Gershwin.
  • Feb. 11, 7:30 p.m., Stambaugh Auditorium: A celebration of Valentine’s Day with a show tune showcase featuring vocalists Marcus Goldhaber and Lauren Chapman. The evening will include favorites from “Brigadoon,” “Anything Goes” and “Guys and Dolls.”
  • March 5, 2027, 7:30 p.m., Stambaugh Auditorium: Pianist Jenny Lin will join the orchestra for “Paths Untaken,” performing Philip Glass’ Concerto for Piano No. 2 (“Lewis and Clark”). The program will conclude with the YSO’s premiere performance of Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 3.
  • May 14, 2027, 7:30 p.m., Powers Auditorium: “Inspired By …,” featuring works by Jessie Montgomery, Darius Milhaud and Jean Sibelius. The YSO will spotlight principal percussionist Andrew Pongracz as soloist in Milhaud’s Concerto for Percussion, Op. 109.
