SHARON, Pa. – Tickets are available for Mercer County Food Bank’s Empty Bowls fundraiser.
The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. April 3 at the Hickory VFW.
Tickets are $30 and include soup, bread, dessert, beverage and a locally handcrafted bowl to take home. The handcrafted bowls are created by local artists who participate in a Throw Down event hosted by the Hope Center for Arts and Technology and Studio 83. Local students also craft bowls throughout the school year for the event.
The event will also feature a silent auction, basket raffle, live music and cash bar.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the food bank’s website or by contacting Patty Tucker, development coordinator, at 724 981 0353, ext. 103, or ptucker@mercercountyfoodbank.org.
Every ticket purchased for the event provides 120 meals for those in need in Mercer County, according to the food bank.
