NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Tickets are now on sale for the Super Brew X on Jan. 26 at the New Englander Banquet Center. Team Super Brew established the Super Brew Fund with the Community Foundation of Eastern Ohio and Western PA to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Last year Super Brew raised over $54,000 and over the past nine years the annual event has raised over $450,000 for the American Cancer Society, earning Team Super Brew the relay’s Top Fundraising award for Lawrence County.
“The Super Brew Fund offers us continued support of the American Cancer Society, while also making a positive impact on the lives of area residents affected by the disease,” says Geoffrey Measel, team captain and donor. “Our goal this year is to exceed $500,000 in total donations since the inaugural event.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of craft beers, including 30 home-brewed options, 20 regionally-brewed varieties and 40 nationally-recognized craft beers. The event features two, three-hour sessions with the first session running from 2 to 5 p.m. and the second session running from 7 to 10 p.m.
“The success of this annual event is a testament to the many sponsors, volunteers, brewers and guests, who come together each year in the name of a worthy cause,” says Ryan Harcar, donor and team co-captain.
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available and include company recognition, as well as access to the VIP Club Lounge for both sessions.
Tickets for the event are available online for $45 per session and include access to over 80 craft beers, live entertainment from Jukebox Band and Jon & Bob, food, a 50/50 raffle and brewery tours.
