WARREN, Ohio – Tony Danza and his four-piece band will bring their live show, “Standards and Stories,” to the Robins Theatre on Oct. 17.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. concert range from $89 to $48 (plus fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at RobinsTheatre.com and the box office, 160 E. Market St.
Danza will sing classic American pop songs, delivered with storytelling, wit, a dash of soft shoe and ukelele. The actor will weave in stories about his life and his personal connection to the music.
Danza is best known for his starring roles on two of television’s most long-running series, “Taxi” and “Who’s the Boss.” He also starred in films such as “Angels in the Outfield, “She’s Out of Control” and “Hollywood Knights.”
Well established as a song and dance man, Danza has also starred on Broadway in “The Producers,” “A View from the Bridge” and “Honeymoon in Vegas.”
He received an Emmy nomination for his guest spot on “The Practice” and has made special appearances on “Blue Bloods” and “Broad City.”
