YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Playhouse will open a two-weekend run of the Tony Award-winning musical “Urinetown” on Friday.

The satirical comedy imagines a future where citizens must pay to use public restrooms, using absurd humor and musical theater parody to explore themes of power, inequality and social control.

Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 29-30 and June 5-6; and 2:30 p.m. May 31 and June 7.
