COLUMBIANA, Ohio – The long wait is over. Tractor Supply in Columbiana will have its official grand opening Saturday.
The retail chain that offers pet supplies, lawn and garden equipment, hardware and clothes for outdoor living is ready for business at the intersection of state Route 14 and Springfield Road.
Valerie Phillips, store manager, said Saturday’s event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce, cupcakes from Hogan’s Bakery, local radio stations Froggy 94.9, 103.5 and 104.3 attending from noon to 2 p.m. and a giveaway registration.
The store, which employs five managers and 12 team members, began moving merchandise into the space in December.
“The area has been extremely receptive,” Phillips said, adding people tell her they are looking forward to not having to leave the Columbiana area to get their items from Tractor Supply.
The store is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
