YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Train will return to the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on Aug. 12, with opening act Edwin McCain.

The band, winner of multiple Grammy awards, last played the downtown venue in 2021.

Train is best known for its hits “Soul Sister,” “Meet Virginia,”  “Drops of Jupiter,” “Save Me San Francisco” and its 2022 single “AM Gold.”

The San Francisco-based act, led by Pat Monahan, released its most recent album, “Live at Royal Albert Hall,” in 2024.

Tickets range from $135 to $42.50 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com and the Covelli Centre box office.

An online-only presale will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Thursday; use the password “jupiter.”
