YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – In this excerpt from the 28th episode of “It’s All About the Team,” Jim Tressel asks Anthony Schlegel and Bobby Carpenter what lessons they learned during their college football careers at The Ohio State University.
Carpenter talks about dealing with one’s situation when it’s not going well, referring to when the team was 3-3 during the 2004 season.
“Let’s figure out a way to win and let’s figure out a way to win together,” Carpenter says. “You can blame this guy or that guy, but that in reality isn’t going to help you win the next game.”
