Tri-County Heart Ball Set for November in Niles

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The American Heart Association will host its annual Heart of Tri-County Heart Ball on Nov. 2 at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles. 

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and silent auction. A formal dinner and program will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction and Open Your Heart special appeal.

The celebration is the culmination of the American Heart Association’s yearlong Heart of Tri-County fundraising campaign. The dollars raised through the campaign fund the organization’s mission. 

Co-chairs of this year’s event are Mark Mediate of Premier Bank and Lisa Mariotti of Grainger.

“Cardiovascular disease is the nation’s No. 1 killer, and my family has been heavily impacted by heart issues,” Mediate said. We are passionate about the well-being of our community and want to do everything we can to spread awareness about the signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke and when to take action.”

Mariotti added: “We are honored to support the work of the American Heart Association and committed to preventing cardiovascular disease.”
