EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – In partnership with JobsOhio and Columbiana County commissioners, True North LLC will celebrate the grand opening of its new downtown headquarters at 119 E. Fifth St. at 2 p.m. Oct. 1.
The celebration will mark a major milestone for both the company and the community, according to a news release.
Founded in 2012, True North provides high-tech business services to clients across 47 states, specializing in accounting, medical building, consulting and revenue cycle management.
“This headquarters is more than an office – it’s a commitment to East Liverpool’s future,” said Charles Bailey, Truth North CEO. “By building here with local partners, we’re demonstrating what’s possible when business and communities invest in each other.”
The opening represents more than the completion of a new office space, demonstrating the company’s ongoing investment in the city, working with local vendors, creating new opportunities for employment and supporting the growth of small businesses.
The grand opening will bring together state and local leaders, business partners and community members. The celebration will include a tour of the new headquarters.
Expected speakers include Terrance Slaybaugh, vice president of sites and infrastructure for JobsOhio; Alexa Sweeney Blackann, interim CEO of Lake to River Economic Development; Penny Traina, Lake to River board member and retired Columbiana County Port Authority executive director; Columbiana County Commissioner Mike Halleck; Mayor Bobby Smith; and Bailey.
The new headquarters follows recent investments in East Liverpool made possible through the JobsOhio Vibrant Communities Program, which provides competitive grants for development projects that help transform distressed communities.
These projects include mixed-use developments, real estate restorations and shared spaces that drive long-term revitalization.
True North’s new headquarters is part of a broader effort to build momentum in the Lake to River region where partnerships between state leaders, developers and business owners are working to spark growth and create jobs, according to the company’s news release.
