COLUMBUS, Ohio – Trumbull County will receive a $1 million grant for a sewer infrastructure improvement project in Warren Township.

The Meadowbrook Sanitary Sewer Improvements project includes the construction of more than 10,000 feet of sewer to service 71 structures in the township. A wastewater treatment plant will also be built and will service approximately 750 properties. 

The grant is part of $16.7 million announced Monday through the sixth round of H2Ohio funding for 13 water infrastructure projects across the state.

“H2Ohio is making a real difference with the significant investments we are putting into reliable, clean drinking water,” Gov. Mike DeWine said. “The projects being awarded today will have a huge, positive impact on hundreds of Ohioans, and that’s what H2Ohio is all about.”

Other grant recipients in this round include Clark County, $5 million; Portage County, $2 million; Ohio & Lee Water and Sewer District, $1.5 million; South Vienna, $1.5 million; Findlay, $1 million; Gallipolis, $1 million; Guernsey County, $1 million; Lakeview, $1 million; Meigs County, $675,000; Wintersville, $650,000; Tuppers Plains-Chester Water District, $49,000; and Madison Water District, 378,500.
