WARREN, Ohio – Economic development efforts in Trumbull County are featured in the June 2026 edition of Business in Focus, an international business publication.
The multipage feature, titled “Steel Roots, New Horizons,” showcases Trumbull County’s economic transformation, industrial heritage and continued commitment to business growth and community development.
The article highlights the collaborative work of the Trumbull County Planning Commission and its partners to attract investment, strengthen infrastructure, revitalize brownfield sites, expand housing opportunities and support long-term economic development throughout the county. It also recognizes Trumbull County’s strong manufacturing base, skilled workforce, business-friendly environment and quality of life.

Among the topics featured are recent economic development successes, including major private investment, infrastructure improvements, tourism growth, housing development and innovative partnerships.
The publication also highlights the planning commission’s role in helping businesses navigate development processes and coordinating resources to support new investment.
The feature concludes with a message that reflects the planning commission’s commitment to future growth: “Trumbull County is open for business.”
