WARREN, Ohio – The Trumbull County Family Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division, has issued a notice to all local attorneys, setting forth new expectations.
The notice, signed by Judge David L. Engler and Administrative Judge Samuel F. Bluedorn, emphasizes the court’s commitment to efficiency, transparency and professionalism in family law proceedings.
“We must respect the public’s time,” Bluedorn said. “People often must take off work, so ensuring that attorneys are punctual and prepared is our way of respecting the people of Trumbull County.”
He emphasized that resolving cases swiftly often reduces suffering for individuals going through divorce.
“These directives are really to help the people of Trumbull County,” Engler said. “We want the parties that appear before us to know exactly what is going on.”
