WARREN, Ohio – The Trumbull County Planning Commission recently recognized the Society of St. Vincent de Paul through its Something Good Initiative.
For 95 years, St. Vincent de Paul has provided meals, housing support, clothing and emergency assistance to thousands of Trumbull County residents each year.
In 2024, the organization, with more than 300 volunteers, served more than 9,400 individuals and prepared over 118,000 home-cooked meals, while offering programs such as rent and utility assistance, workforce development and the Sleep Soundly bed program.
The organization was recognized during the Planning Commission’s Sept. 10 meeting.
The Something Good Initiative recognizes individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community.
