BOARDMAN, Ohio – The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley is inviting local businesses and nonprofits to bring their teams to help pack 140,000 meals to fight hunger in the Mahoning Valley.
Meal packing assembly lines will be formed to box thousands of meals for local families from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the United Way’s Centofanti Volunteer Resource Center, 8133 Market St.
Organizations and volunteers need only to provide energy and community spirit for the friendly competition and fun-filled event. The volunteer center will provide all the supplies, training and equipment.
