BOARDMAN, Ohio – The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley announced Wednesday that the organization was able to raise more than $3.7 million for its annual campaign, once again setting a record.
The co-chairs of the campaign were Rob Komara of Komara Jewelers and his wife, Rebecca, who works as a nurse practitioner with The Wound Pros.
“It’s not always about beating a record. It truly comes down to let’s see how much we can give back to the community,” Rob Komara said. “That dollar amount is just a number, but it definitely feels good.”
